Get some gold Hope Pro 2 hubs build with some anodized bronze Halo rims or Brave DLux on chainreactioncycles.

Hope Pro 2 converts into whatever axle you want.
It's actually very easy, and you don't have to buy new wheels!

super bling wheels and under $250... good luck.
ha funny but seriously.... i just found out the alex's suck so i guess im just down to azonic outlaws.

He, apparently, has a different definition of bling.

ghost ride ur scraper bike
I think Transition Revolutions are cheap and come in lots of colors.

Is it too late to talk you into getting a better, lighter wheelset rather than going cheap and colorful?
If you can stretch a little bit more then I think it will be worth it, I am always in the mind that if your spending 250 already stretching a 100 - 150 more will see far more in terms of investment. You will get something that will last longer and generally be of a better quality.

If you could only afford 150 then fair enough but your aren't far away from being able to afford a much longer life wheelset! Just food for thought
why so bling orientated? if your doing it right they will just be brown at the end of the day anyways.
Cheap bling = colored alloy nipples.
Cheaper bling = Silver + a sharpie.
seeing the words fox 32 and azonic outlaws in the same post makes baby jesus cry
ha! dude, i love that video - scraping on my scraper bike - dude's like riding in the middle of traffic with is weed leaf sweatshirt on, so good
ya its 140mm fox 32 float..... whats wrong with that its an AM fork that i happen to ride like an AM/FR bike.
have you considered starting from a decent hub and going from there? Maybe a hope pro 2 or BWW wheelset? Customs colour hubs and solid wheelsets (depending on rim choice of course)

Check out this thread for info on BWW http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=516929

or have a look for hopes on either dt swiss 5.1/500's or similar mavic offerings

they just don't seem to compliment each other very well. Either the wheels will hold the fork back from its intended purpose (xc/am) or the fork will hold the wheels back from what they were designed to do (hardcore FR/DH, and i mean hardcore, they are crazy strong and heavy!!!!)

maybe look into some used dt swiss 2200.
the transition wheels look like a pretty good deal. lo engagement pts but they do come in different colors.
yea i like the transitions and i can get em in gold or blue.
