He's got a rigid Trek, but he kicks butt anyway and I'm glad to be able to ride with him like I do. Some pics from the last two rides with my kids. We headed out to the local singletrack on Sunday a little early to beat the rain. We saw a lot of salamandars getting ready for hibernation and he had great fun checking them out (what little kid wouldn't?). We did a long lap, about 6 miles, played in the river, rode some more, and wer epacked up & headed out when we passed the shop guys showing up for their evening ride. He wanted to join them so we did for a very fast lap. He was going gangbusters, flying at the front of the group and hitting every bump he could find for some air. I tell you the kid's got energy.....
My daughter is 2 (almost 3). She LOVES going for rides, and just graduated up to this little 16" with training wheels. Check out the "beer store" ride.
Strike a confident pose
Some blurry shots I tried taking while riding.
The kid leaves me in the dust
A nice section of trail as seen by my stem
How much fun is this? Ride scars and critters!
The G-man takes one at the line. BMX races last night (he's in the red).
