How is it any more GHEY than the BD Picture thread that your a fanboy of...LBS's sell sub $1000 bikes too, why should those proud owners be left out?Justinbunyon said:WOW... a thread has actually surpassed the "guys legs" thread in gayness. GOOD JOB!
*edit* not that there's anything wrong with that
I'm sorry, I didn't realize a Specialized Stumpjumper was sub $1000mtnbiker72 said:How is it any more GHEY than the BD Picture thread that your a fanboy of...LBS's sell sub $1000 bikes too, why should those proud owners be left out?
Oh I'm sorry edapp, I just assumed since mtnbiker72 made reference to the plight of "sub $1000 LBS bikes" being left out, that that's what he would be displaying for everyone. My bad. His Bike is well over $2000 (sorry for the rough google estimate). Which is exactly why he should be bashing the "Official Post your BikesDirect 29er Pics Thread." Carry on.edapp said:Thats because it isnt, but it is purchased from a LBS, which is the reason its in this thread.
Hey Justinbunyon, try not to become what you hate.Justinbunyon said:It's also "ghey" because my friends outcast 29er has 10 times the personality your boring stumpjumper has. If I wanted to see your bike I would go to the Specialized website (their lighting is better).
However I am talking my buddy into registering with mtbr.com and hopefully he will post some pics of his creation. Sorry its not LBS, but he's just gettin into the sport...maybe sometime soon he'll be on your level and above those pathetic BD riders.
So BD fanboy gets mad for questioning the BD thread but then talks schitt when someone like me who has been riding a sub $1000 29er for three years while saving money to buy myself a $2100 bike posts an LBS thread! Thank you, you have more than proven my point!!!:thumbsup:Justinbunyon said:It's also "ghey" because my friends outcast 29er has 10 times the personality your boring stumpjumper has. I know they do, but I have personally turned 3 friends of mine onto biking with BD bikes. Don't get me wrong, I shop LBS whenever possible...but there is a certain "sticker shock" involved with someone just getting into the sport. It's eased a little through BD. Especially when someone isn't sure if they're going to be "into" biking, that $500 price tag (with free shipping) is a little easier to swallow. Especially with the mindset of "I'll buy a good one later if I like it." Hey, give these guys a thread (without alot of flak) to post their modest BD bikes is all I'm sayin'. Sooner or later they will all be LBS customers :thumbsup:mtnbiker72 said:So BD fanboy gets mad for questioning the BD thread but then talks schitt when someone like me who has been riding a sub $1000 29er for three years while saving money to buy myself a $2100 bike posts an LBS thread! BTW dude, Bikes Direct sells a $2000 29er too:ciappa:
