Sand has been an non-issue for the last month or so. We have been getting weekly rains, although none this week. We have mulched alot of the sandy areas that are relatively flat and are using ladders, rocks and shells for sandy surfaces on inclines. It is riding better than ever. If it has been that long since your last ride, better come hit before the temps start creeping up even more. ;)

BTW, I may hitting up Nayls tomorrow and Vortex. Is there a new blue or red trail out near Nayls or past it? Thanks.

Sounds killer man, I'll definitely be up before the heat kicks back in...

There is a new yellow and new blue, no new red. To get to them you have to ride Nayls out to where it loops back to the trailhead... right at the road (484 I think?) cross the road and there is an entrance that will get you to the new trails. Its kinda hard to explain (maybe someone else can clarify) but fairly easy to find. I haven't been since the blue trail was added but I hear its gonna be a good blue.
