picked up a V2 last week. Only got one ride under my belt before we dumped on with snow.
I was super impressed with how well it pedaled and just felt extremely balanced. The bike ate up the few janky spots of trail i hit. This was all with me doing nothing more than setting the sag and checking the tire pressure. I’m eager to get more time on it to dial it in more.
I’ve been hacking around on Chromag Rootdown with burly build for past few years so I’m not adverse to pushing some weight around. Pretty sure I’ll throw a coil kit in the lyrik and upgrade the shock to a coil.
I’ve already swapped out the 150mm dropper for a 180mm, and swapped the bar and stem. I think I’ll throw the 2.5 DHF that’s ups front in the back and put an assegai up front, or I have always liked the Magic Marry / Hans Dampf combo.
I think the great thing about this bike is the flexibility in how it can be built up. Can’t wait to really put it through the paces.
