Any 5'7" riders out there? Are you riding a small? According to the Evil size chart I could ride the small or medium, but on paper the medium seems too big. With access to demo bikes being difficult these days I'm looking for some feedback from current owners.
I am 5.6 and change towards the upper end and I went for a small with a 150mm fork . My ideal reach is probably around 452 so 469 for a medium was just way too much while the 448 is a bit smaller than perfect it does let me weight the front wheel a bit better and I honestly love the bike.

Thanks for the info! What size stem are you running on the small? I had a small Switchblade demo ride a few weeks ago and the reach felt a touch short at 430mm so I'm guessing the 448 will feel just about right.

I rode the switchblade as well and the small was just tiny, I would have definitely gone with a medium at 455mm reach for the switchblade. I run a 35mm stem on the offering.

Anybody feel a 160 fork is to much on this bike? I have a V1 that has been set up as a 150 from day one, i just tried a 160mm 44 offset fork on it and it felt floppy and took the playfulness right out of the bike. Just wondering if anyone has had the same experience on the V2? I also have a Ripmo V2 with a !60 fork and I like the extra travel up front but the bike just isn't as good downhill or as fun as the Offering. I want a V2 Offering but dont want to kill the fun factor of the bike with a longer fork like it did on the V1.

I run a 160 and love it. I have never ridden it at 150 so i don't know the difference. Bike is super fun at 160 imo.

I think I finally solved the click-clack sound or at least minimized it. This is the noisiest bike I've owned in a long time by far. In my case it seemed like it the noise was coming from the internally routed tubes that did not have a cable/hose in them.

I ran black plastic drip line into all the open cables ports from end to end and the noise is 80%-90% better. My buddy has same frame (Smaller size) with no rattle so I can only guess its a QC issue.

Love the frame overall but bummed EVIL could not come up with a better cable solution where the cable/hose exists the port. The plastic things they supply is a joke and seems like design after thought. For the cost, it makes no sense. Rocky Mountain has this dialed.

Shove some drip line in your tubes if you have a rattle your cant locate.

I have creaks driving me crazy. Was this sound you were referring to a creak or something else?

Not really a creak. It happened when descending, kinda like a shaking noise.

It would be like if you had some bamboo rods in your fist and shake then, crazy annoying.

I swear this offering is the quietest bike I have ever owned period. I am sorry you have to go through this stuff.

mine developed a crack sound on fast bumps, it seems like there might be a tiny rock inside the guided tubes on my deralieur cable, so annoying, it was dead silent at first, i'll change cable and see if that's it.

definitely not, 160 feels perfect, it takes 0 fun out of the bike, and feels much better on the downhill like that, also i've been running it x-low -1° with both 150-160 and 160 feels spot on. super fun yet planted, best of everything

I had three creaks. BB, pivot, and headset. It got dry in these areas and dirt got in. Bike is back to silent except fir wtb saddle which cannot be fixed in my experience.
A tip I got from a friend on creaky saddle rails - triflow or similar at the rail/seat intersection - solved a couple of creaky saddles for me. (as well as the usual rail/seatpost interface being clean)

I'm 5'6.5ish" and ride a medium. I came of a medium knolly fugitive LT that has a slightly shorter reach and I felt pretty comfortable on this bike. Pedaling position is very upright so I don't feel it was too long while pedaling.

I rode it for about 6 months on 150 the bumped it to 160 and didn't really notice a difference. it is just as playful on not really floppy on the climbs.

I had this issue and it ended up being the cables out front hitting each other. I secured them in a way that they didn't hit and it is now super quiet.

has anyone ridden their V2 offering with both an air shock and a coil shock? how do they compare? I'm generally happy with how it the bike feels with the X2 but I'm coil curious.and I kinda want to get rid of the X2 since I want something more easily serviceable that won't blow an oil seal mid descent on a double black like the X2 did

I am curious to this too I am debating dropping the Super Deluxe and run either a Kitsuma Coil or a DVO Jade for 2022 since I can't seem to get along perfectly with the super deluxe.

I haven't ridden it with an X2, but ridden both the V1 and V2 with the SD shock and a coil. Evil's work really well with a coil and the V2 Offering is no different. I have a coil on mine now and I never feel the bottom despite taking off some fairly harsh drops. It pedals just as well as air. V1 actually pedaled better than air for me. And, you get the all the goodness of coil for small bump and traction. I wouldn't even think twice about and just get a coil. Less maintenance and better ride on this bike.

Out of curiosity what coil shock are you all running on your bikes? I am having a hard time deciding between which coil to put on there between Ohlins, EST Storia, 11Six on the ridiculous high end and DVO and CaneCreek on the middle/low.
