Still havent managed to work out whether Offroad Toads were powder coated or wet painted.

My black recently purchased black one, bought from Williwoods here seems to be wet painted due to the sparkly finish in the paint (didnt think you could do this with powder coating methods) but there doesnt seem to be an undercoat (again, indication of powder coat).

Anyone help?

metallic finishes are indeed available in powdercoats.

for some reason i thought the toads were wet painted. the team toads that the local racers were on had some great paintjobs. wish i had some pics...

Not necessarily "metallic " but as if someone has dropped some very fine glitter in a pot of black paint - it glitters in different light conditions...

Hard to get a good picture of it, but this is a Titan with "sparkle" in it.

The ne Mountain Goats also have a sparkle clear powder coat over the color base.
