Is anyone using ODI lock-ons on a Race Face Next Carbon bar?

I had a nice endo yesterday and the end of my handlebar too a chunk out of a tree. I figured I should make sure there's no damage to carbon bar, but I'll have to remove the grips.

That got me thinking it would be much easier if I had lock on grips.

why not?

i use lizard skins lock on grips on an easton carbon bar...

and i haven't died yet.

it's not like they tighten that much on the bar.

i say..no worries at all. lock on grips are great.

Thanks for the input. My buddy has an easton carbon bar as well and he's had no problem either. I just figured a few second opinions would make me feel better :thumbsup:

They work fine for me!

I have that combo with no problems. I ordered them from the Yeti store. I have even had a couple of grinders on the bar end.....they seem to be relatively resilient.:thumbsup:

I use Pedros Lock-on grips on a FSA carbon bar. I like lock-on grips so much that I'd rather give up the carbon bar than the lock-on grips.

Works fine....

They work fine with carbon bars, just dont wrench the clamps down hard. Same goes for your stem and brake/shifter clamps.

I have Token grips and locks on my easton carbon bars and I haven't had any problems.

I have had the Yeti ODI lock-on grips on my Race Face Deus XC carbon bar for a year or two. No problems so far... love em.

I used ODI Yeti grips on my old 575 with RF carbon bars and now use ODI grips on my Easton cf bar. No need to tighten the screws too much, the grips are going nowhere.

Currently running the ODI Riffian on the DH MaxM bars...great combo.
