O/T. What to do when women throws a tandtrum??

1939 Views 38 Replies 33 Participants Last post by  rzozaya1969
Mine always seems to get mad at very little things a lot, and then she just won't talk to me, and expects me to make her happy again. This happens at least 3-4 times a week.

I'm getting pretty fed up, and I'm just wondering what you guys do when your women get mad???

Break up with her and find someone who doesn't act like a teenager.
Yeah, try and talk to her rationally about how it makes you feel, try and find out if there's some underlying problem causing all this. If she can't talk ratioanlly about, or it doesn't get better, move on. Life's to short to be getting yelled at the time. Been there, done that.
agree

Since you're a "poor student" my guess she is also in the same boat and I'm guessing again but you're both in your early 20s.
With those assumptions, she sounds insecure, immature etc etc. You know the old saying, "what doesn't kill you, makes you stonger," we all grow via our experiences. I would move on but make sure she understands why isn't working for you. She may grow up, she may not. Don't let her twist you back. But who knows, myabe you'll meet again some time later and things could be different. But if she nags you this much now its only going to get worse.
if you'd just do exactly what she tells you all the time, PLUS read her mind, you wouldn't have these problems. Improving the quality, duration, and frequency of sex would probably help too.
..Nice reply, formica.. :)

This type of behavior usually indicates a problem in the relationship. Unless you get it sorted out soon, it can lead to a breakup.

My advice is to seek professional help in the form of a councillor ..with you and your woman openly discussing the problem.

These kind of people will never be happy. Tomorrow, it will be some other imaginary problem. Life's too short to waste time with head games and psycho drama. There's many fish in the sea and your true freak is out there somewhere.

Damn, I've been telling my wife this for years :D
Unless she's your wife (& maybe even if she is), it means she's over whatever drew her to you in the first place and is getting ready to dump you any minute. You are in your early 20's aren't you?!

Phuck dat ****! Life is to short to put up with that crap. Hey, read this carefully IT ONLY GETS WORSE YOU GET MARRIED!! i.e. stranglehold on your nuts. Dump her.
Find one more mature, they're out there. Why saddle yourself with a PITA if you don't have to? There is a reason they invented curbs...
is she on the pill? Make her try a different one, it might just cure the problems. Hormons all over the place.

This is simple if you're not living together or married. When she throws one of her little tantrums just say "grow up" and walk away... Catering to this behavior will only make matters worse in the long run as she will know that she can CONTROL you by throwing a fit.

It sounds like your relationship with this gal is waning, hopefully you're not in too deep (married, kids etc.). Best to let her know ASAP that this thing isn't going to last if she doesn't learn how to act like an adult. Life is too short and there are too many good women out there to be tied up with a princess (b!tch??) like that.

I will agree with Formicas reply above that improving frequency and quality of sex will help a relationship but I completely disagree with his suggesting that do everything she says and (trying) to read her mind. (I HOPE he was kidding!) You're doing these things will only enable the CONTROL mechanisim she is using.

Did I mention that she uses these fits as a form of CONTROL?...and she probably doesn't even know it  .

Excellant suggestion... womens hormones being out of wack will make them act like REAL psychos! Mine changed the pill she was using a couple of years ago and her mood swings improved almost instantly.

Hey, the dude's bumming and he needs someone to talk to and lend a few suggestions.

It's either us or some drunk on a stool ;) .
Well, since you asked...

I just walk away.

The reality is that the first time someone rips on you it is their fault.
The second time it happens it is half your fault for still being there.

People who cap on others don't really love themselves. They usually tear into others for shortcomings that they see in themselves. Someone who does not love themself cannot love anyone else. Loving yourself involves, in part, forgiving yourself for your imperfections. There are many gals in my life who are cool, self loving and enlightend persons. The problem is that these women are all taken by very lucky people (guys & gals). I am happy for them.

Here is the most liberating thing that I have ever learned: There is nothing that happens to anyone that is stressful, until that person decides it is stressful. I can't say I am perfect in following the wisdom of the previous observation, but it has helped me get thru some times that would have been really rotten if my perception of the events had shifted to focus on the dark side.

The fact that I have my boundaries and limitations so well established for these kind of issues may have something to do with the fact that I am single and have never been married. Things could be way worse if I had made a wrong choice in a partner a permanent one.

I'm often wondering why so many folk here in the states are addicted to the trauma/drama thing. The Euro gals that I have gotten to know seem to be way more rational when it comes to being easy to deal with. I may move to Switzerland, I have family there.

Good luck!

Run Dude RUN!

It sounds like she may be f-ing with you, don't put up with it. I've been with women like that in the past. It ain't fun, and you are wasting time. (Life is toooo short for that sh*t)
Go out and get yourself a new one as soon as possible! It's a big world and there are plenty of wonderful women out there who are not completely insane (you might even find one who rides too).
Stop screwing around with this manipulative b%#ch and move on.

Dot her eye and send her sweet little can, back to the kitchen, where it belongs. :D
Try the Womens Lounge

I say you toss this quandry out there and see what the women have to say about the issue . Has anyone who has replied taken into consideration that this is just one side of the story? The poster could be the psycho in the relationship. Who knows, after all, it's the internet, folks.
