I got home form work today, anxious to get started on my new wheel. The build goes as follows,
-Hope Pro II Disc 32 hole
-ZTR355 29” rim
-DT Swiss super comps 293mm

I started with the non-drive side trailing spokes, they lace in just fine, I flip the wheel over to start on the drive side trailing spokes and I hit a problem, what I’m only six minutes into the wheel and a problem already. I can’t get the spoke to seat in the hub, it’s like the bend is to sharp? This is only my third wheel ever so I’m a rooky. Is there such a thing as an inner or outer spoke? I tried a hand full of spokes and none of them went. The spoke seated up fine in an old LX hub I had sitting around, I think my hub is defective, I don’t know what to do. Any help would be great, Thanks.

4 days old, but if the "same spoke", i.e. try one spoke, laces into one flange, but not the other, call Hope or whomever you bought the hub from, assuming new hub.
