Hey everyone. First post here, been lurking for awhile and this is the first time I've had a reason to post.
I recently picked up a 2001 NRS XTC 3 frameset for a song because it needs new bearings where the top of the seatstays meet the rocker. They look like off the shelf sealed bearings to me and I thought if might be faster and cheaper to try to get them from a local bearing shop than try to order them from a LBS. Unfortunately the seals along with the part numbers are completely gone. Would anyone happen to know the # or have the same bike around they could look on. It should be a 4 digit number, maybe with a couple letters after it.
Once I get it fixed up and move parts over from another bike I will post some pics. The paint was pretty scratched up so I painted it Caterpillar yellow :thumbsup
I happened to have a can of it lying around). Should be a nice rig when I'm done.
