Ok, for the last few months not only have i been riding my burner on all the trails that thawed out. I have ridden the sucker to work every day instead of my broken hardtail Why? Cuz I have been working so damn much to fix..... nevermind. Tomorrow we leave for Crested Butte and I prepared by replacing the seals in the fox vanilla...putting a new tire on the rear and the gravity dropper on to hold the saddle I ride it around...wow...feels great. I ride around another bike i haven't ridden in months.*(because i was gonna steal a tire from it) WOW , i think,...this is nice-er...maybe I should fix this bike up. mmmmmmmmmm okay..... So I'm used to and in love with the burner lately....but seems this other bike walks in and steals the show. ...So I think...??????? Do i have the right spring in the front shock? Too much oil causing lock up? Is my swinger rear shock set too harsh and rigid? (i did add some air) I'm getting insecure??? Or is 1" more travel that much more important???

Maybe if you told us what the other bike was (FXR?), we could help you. It's all relative, you know...
Hey I just realized something.

Lidar.........as in imaging. Yeah we've got one of those things. Use it to map stream beds and check landslide profiles.

And yeah buy the other bike.

I don't know what it is but other people spending money helps the industry grow and maybe I can buy cheap xo derailleurs one day.
I'm guessing that you're talking about this bike http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=200973. Cool pic by the way. I say take the bike that you can do the most with and the one you want to ride. It would suck to be in CB, see a nice little drop and wish you had a bike that could handle it a little better than the one you are on.

Wow, that seems like months ago...that was really only two weeks ago? MTBR has something wrong with it's timestamping. or maybe I posted the photo from way back...ooops :( BTW, this was not meant ot be a troll post in any sense...I have been feeling the love for the burner...but I think the fork or something is letting me down suddenly...seems sense i changed the seals, it's more harsh. I'm still taking it to CB....no other choice at 11:00 PM
