This link may not be effective for all of the listed corporations, but I managed to "talk to a human" and got one company to take me off their mail list. The lady was ever so nice when she asked: Where did you get this access number?

Also, for you folks in NC who now have access to free credit reports, you also are provided a list of companies who have used your good name to send junk mail and can contact them directly to cease sending you offers. The one I had trouble with was on the above list, but the press 1 to 3,679 choices never went to a real person, so this link might provide an avenue.
