North Shore L Tahoe trails

Im heading to North Shore Lake Tahoe for vacation next week and am loking for a good xc trail to ride with my brothers- something challenging but not too insane. Something along the lines of aggressive XC, without tons of climbing, as were all in so so shape and the air gets thin up there ! I'd like to find something in the very nearby area-
Any reccomendations? Thanks

would require some driving to the east side of the lake, but something without much climbing would be to take the shuttle from spooner to Mt. Rose, ride the TRT to flume.

a little bit of climbing would be to include a climb up to marlette peak, then back down between the TRT and flume.

a bit more climbing would be to go from spooner to kingsbury.
You could always do the flume trail if you want something easy with views.

You park at spooner lake. There is a bike shop there and they can tell you about all the trails around there.

Have fun. Lots of good riding up there.
