I've had it with all the snow. Jonesin' bad for some riding. Going to Las Cruces for some dry trails. Got the weekend booked up with some locals. Gonna ride the north Dona Anas tomorrow. If anybody down there (or up here) wants to join me, reply here or PM me.

Now, that's what I'm talking about...Someone posting a ride... Damn

Hey Southern New Mexico now is a great time to start posting. With all the snow here in Santa Fe, this is the perfect oppurtunity to venture out to the south for rides. So, who'll spill the beans on the awsome rides down there?

We got some ok dirt roads for riding. Nice and flat levee roads by the river; some of it is even paved! Nothing too tough. Just nice, peaceful coasting.

 Oh come on,I'm talking singletrack aka South Boundary/Taos,Secrets/Colo. border,Sargents in Chama.OK Sargents is short but it's singletrack.I'm seeking long epics with big climbs and descents.Dirt roads are ok when they take you to a trail otherwise  .One might as well drive to another state or to Mexico if there are only dirt roads and flats in the south.
Who's going to spill the beans and share some info?

That's Ok with me,I don't like jocks and the group mentality that follows them.
Oh, and alot of people have told me that they wish they had the huevos to spank you into place as I have. Now that's karma
I really didn't want to hurt your feelings or make you feel threaten. So step into manhood and be an individual
Butt I have no problem helping a mtn.biker find good rides, sorry that you do and I didn't realize this was YOUR forum I thought it was open to everyone interested in mtn.biking
I lurk alot and post occasionally, but anyone who spends any time on this board knows what Timo has done to positively influence the mountain bike scene around here. His actions speak volumes.

Timo certainly doesn't need me or anyone else coming to his defense so I'm posting this to express my own distaste for your attitude. In a nutshell, you sound like an a$$.

Easy on the bait,
Could careless of your opinions, and yes I am an @$$
I've been riding here in Santa Fe since 1989 and have never even heard of you Freds until I went on the SantaFeEpic last fall.
So pardon my grammer and dialect. And pardon me
Freedom of speech without personal attacks and name calling would be nice.
This will prove to be an interesting season

Las Cruces Trails

I believe the whole enchilada was over what trails are found in the LC area.

It appears we've wandered a bit off the trail.

The trail review site on here has pretty good descriptions of what the standard rides are: Dona Ana, Roblados, A mountain, etc... There is also a LC to El Paso trail ride that has a really good write up either here in the NM forum or in Passion. Here are some websites that may help.

now stop rubbing your roosters, and go out and RIDE!
