Got a new bike with SRAM x01, and the black on the cassette and front cog's teeth has been wearing off pretty fast - is that normal? I understand that the paint will wear off in general, but mine only took a month of riding to get pretty bare. I lube after every ride if that matters...

That's reassuring. Makes me wonder why they bother with the aesthetic if it's going to wear off after a few rides.

I dunno. The black finish on the 3 alu cogs on my fancy brand new XTR M9100 cassette are pretty worn, too.
