Built the new ARC30 Easton rim on my I9 and LBS suggested trying the new WTB Trailboss 2.8... won't know till it's tried if they will fit etc... so gonna give it a try. Have the Pike at 150mm... will see if there is enuf space in frame and fork. Most 275+ are either 29er frames or purpose built for the new size. Ill post up later as should know today.

Jumped the gun on the excitement - no fit for the trailblazer 2.8 in the rear swinger - just too big all over... i guess Norco can build a plus size specific bike now!

Per the bike shop - the tire was too big both in width and overall diameter to fit in the Sight Swingarm. It did fit fine in my 650b Pike set to 150mm.

I ended up with the new Magic Mary tires mounted on the new ARC 30 as they provided a greater width both at knob and casing measurements vs the DHR2

1 brief ride post nasty storm here in CO. But the trail set up mostly hero dirt. I will state this - never been more confident o the DH and railing turns. the wider rim/bigger tire combo just so precise, and confidence inspiring - bike felt completely different in a really good way.

Only downside is the Rim/Tire combo a bit heavier and draggier than previous setup - but to be expected especially w a brand new super tacky tire.

Need to dial in pressure a bit more, and suspect I will be able to run below 20lbs tubeless frt/rr
