I’m having trouble mounting a One Up bashguide to a Norco Optic C2. The ISCG frame mounts are more recessed than other bikes I’ve mounted this component on before and hence need some kind of spacer. I’ve been in touch with Norco and they recommended a 6mm spacer. I got the part they recommended but it didn’t fit over the BB no of no use. They then said they messed up and sent me another spacer, but it’s for a dedicated chain guide and of no use if I want to mount the One up bash guide. With no spacers and all the one up shims used, the chain rubs on the guide a lot. I have some 3mm e-thirteen shims that I haven’t used yet but I’m not sure that’s the right solution here. I’m assuming you’d want good support for a bashguide. Does anyone have a solution?

I don't believe the Optic frame is compatible with a bash. It's only got the 2 mounting points and is designed for an upper chain guide only. While you might be able to install a bash guide using just 2 mounting points, you might end up breaking them off the frame as it's not designed for that use.

I have 3 mounting holes. Looks just like an ISCG 05 mount.

Did they change the design? Others report only having 2 holes(for a chain guide)
Don’t know, it’s a friends bike, first time I’ve seen one but I can install the one up bash guide with no problem and good clearance, but the mounts are set back from the edge of the BB so much that even with all the guide spacers the chain guide rubs. I’ve spoken with Norco and they’ve sent me various 6mm spacers but non have worked. One came with a chain guide mount which would work but not what I was looking for. I have some 3mm e-thirteen spacers now that I’m going to try, just haven’t had the time to sort it out yet. Seems odd to have the mounts but have them set back so far. Even more odd that Norco can’t give me a straight answer. The first spacer they sent me couldn’t even fit over the BB she’ll.

Weird. No change according to their website photos and diagrams.
I’ll post a pic when I get a chance. I’ve already mounted the bash guide into the three mounts so I know they are there, but it is a little weird how recessed the mounts are.
I’ll double check all specs as well. You have me second guessing myself.
