I have just bought a new Norco 125 2007 from Winstanley's with the incorrect bracket for the front brake. To get the pads sitting in the correct space above the disk there is a 4mm gap where the screw connects the fork to the bracket.

Does this sound like them sending me the wrong bracket with it?

If they are pains about getting it sorted how strongly would you advise against using a couple of 2mm washers on each screw?

The hex key in the pictures is 4mm.

Marzocchi 20mm TA forks have disc tabs that are offset by about 5mm. You need to use spacers to push the QR adapter over.

4mm was my guess. So it is a matter of finding spacers rather than having the wrong bracket for the job then? The instructions seemed to imply there was a lot of bracket option but not really describe the differences (for a layman at least...)
