Nor Cal trail suggestions?

So the wife and i are headed up Oregon way to feast on the delicacies that Sparty, Shiggy, Red-Haze, etc, get to sample all the time...
any thoughts as to where we should get a norcal ride in on the way up?...say...in... Sacramento or north of it?

Have you done the obligatory Tahoe or Downieville trails?

Hey Padre,

Tell me again when you'll be arriving in the Eugene area and how long you'll be staying. Some of us plan to ride around Waldo Lake (one of my top 10 rides) on Sunday, 8/22. Will you still be around at that time? If so, you should not miss it.

Shhh.....WE'RE HERE!!!!!
Pulled an all-nighter....
I'll pm you my cell number.
We're trying to see if Wade @ Vulture wants to hook up for an early morning ride tomorrow over in Bend.
Unless you have a better idea...
We'll be leaving Thursday afternoon I think...

I live in NoCal. For the next 2 months anyway.

You just missed al, who drove back to LA this morning. We were in Tahoe all weekend, however, I'm sure you could twist my arm to go back.

I'm hoping to exhaust our bodies and the trails up here in Oregon.
