Ok, I need to know the best all mountain forks that I can also do some light freeride on at a few price ranges:

300$

300-500$

and up to 650$

If you could recomend me one or two forks in each of these price ranges that would be very helpful :D

there is take off recon 351s for sale on jenson hears a link
also you should try the suspension form
Hard to make a recommendation without knowing if you're open to both air/coil forks and what the parameters are for axle-crown/travel, or the frame you're installing it on....
I am partial to Fox and Marozocchi so here's my list...from most recommended to least.

2010 Fox Vanilla 32 RLC QR15
$624
2010 Marzocchi TST2 Air QR20 $558
2010 Fox Vanilla 23 RL
$524
2009 Marzocchi 55 R $269

The Fox is probably going to have the best damping out of all four but the Marzocchi's are going to be stiffer.
I think fox and especially marzocchi suck a big knob, so here's my recommended list:

tora 318 coil

domain 318 or pike coil

Gosh, i dunno... can't afford a lyric coil...might as well get the pike or domain.

You're much too vague though, so we don't really know what you're shopping for or where your priorities lie.

I guess that's probably because you haven't had a pos RockShox have it's coil explode through the top cap and almost blind you...

Also a Tora 318 isn't at all in any way a Freeride fork...let alone an all mountain fork.

No, but i had a manitou do that, funny you mention it. Cut my ear. I'm not too worried about the machined alu screws on a RS fork stripping. My (pretty extensive at this point) experience with RS has been stellar.

You're not gonna get much for 300$... A tora is beefcake and has a damper that functions properly, that's pretty good.

QR?? In 2010? :nono:

140mm class: Pike, Revelation, Thor, Vanilla, Float, Talas are all good - just get 20mm or 15mm axle.

Just had my first ride on this fork on Friday. I like it, lighter than the coil forks I have had and the ability to adjust air pressure helped me dial it in through out the course of the ride (yes I brought my shock pump along). FWIW, for my taste, I had to set up the fork with about 10% less air than recommended.

Keep your eye on ebay. There are several ebay stores tha sell older, but still new forks at asteal. Some are OEM take offs also, but still new. If you can deal with not having the latest abd greatest, this is worth looking into.

Best ofluck,

John
