I've been looking for a set of the pre-made ramps for my 3.5 & 2 year old to play with in the basement this winter (then back outside in the summer). My wife purchased some standard set off amazon and (as all the reviews said) these things are only around 12" wide at the top, not wide enough for my 2 year old on a balance bike or the other one to feel great on his pedal bike. I remember the FactorX ramps of my youth and they were more like 2' wide which would be perfect. I was hoping to go the pre-made route as its winter here and i have no space to build a set, plus I like the idea of them being stackable and easy for the kids to move around. Has anyone purchased any ramps for their toddlers that worked well?

You don't have enough room to build a ramp but you have room to set a few up and ride them?
Isn't that a two car garage in your profile pic?

Color me confused...

Yes, I could move a bunch of stuff out of the garage, go by some new blades, borrow someones truck to get some wood and build a set out in the garage in the pleasant 29 degree weather...you got me. My kids ride their balance bikes around the basement all winter, there is room enough for a table top to have some fun, but having stackable ramps would save space. I appreciate your valuable input though.

Landwave makes nice ramps. 2 feet wide and they are interlocking so you can buy multiples and build up or build out. Plus you can usually find them second-hand cheap as most parents get tired of the space they take up very quickly.

The landwave is nice and wide. As random poster before me said, you can pick them up used when parents want to get rid of them. That is how I acquired the ones I have. The landwave units can be stacked to create taller or chained to make longer ramps as you like. They are heavier than my kids could move and reconfigure easily when they were on balance bikes. The other downside of the landwave system is that don't stack in a way that makes them small to store.

If you have more cash than time mtb hopper and freshpark make interesting ramps that can collapse for storage.

Much lower cost are Riley Ramps which sell through ebay was well.

happy riding!
