YES BROWN SANTA. So the frame is in at the LBS and I'm gearing up to get the parts on this thing in the coming few weeks... More pics soon.

I'm glad I went with the polished. The sh*t is RAW. :)

Yes, the bling factor is high. But its been many years since I've built a new ride up so I'm treating myself. Well, me and all my family and friends who have been giving me parts for the holidays. ;)

Tentative specs....

Marz Z1-FR (temporary, pending Talas 36 in a bit)
King headset
Thompson seatpost & Stem
RaceFace carbon bars
Flite seat
XO rear der & triggers
XTR front der
King ISOs laced to 819s, XTR cassette.
XT cranks... Not sure if I'm doing 3rings or 2 yet.

I think thats everything! Most part are still incoming, but it should all be together by mid-Jan or so. The sweet pain of waiting.

I'll be posting on my blog as I get stuff in and set up. I feel pretty lucky as I put my deposit down only a little over a month ago and the frame is already in. Thats mostly to do with the fact that the order was already in with SC and the fellow who was initially going to take it decided to bail. It would have been his 3rd polished frame!
