Hi,
My XT M8000 GS mech with Sunrace 11-46 and 34 tooth front ring seems to be very noisy. I've attached a link to a vid, but I think it's coming from the guide between the 2 pulleys. The guide has sharp bits, like bits have sheared off it. I wonder if anyone could look at their mech and see if it's different to mine in the photo? If it is, does anyone know if that part is replaceable?
Limit screws seem fine and shifting is good enough.

Looks like you might have had the chain routed wrong through the pulleys but the vid didn't show that part.

Yip, it looks like the chain has been routed wrong and has worn away the tab between the jockey wheels. The chain should not touch that tab.

No big deal. Correct the routing and it'll be fine. The wear on the tab won't do any harm.

Cheers Guys,
When you said I'd routed it incorrectly, I thought I can't have, but looking at a couple of vids, yep, looks I routed it wrong. I just assumed the chain would run inside the cage.

Thanks again!
