Hi guys, i bought a 1 year used V2 MY2020 hightower. The previous owner din't ride it so much so the bike is almost new. After some rides i noticed that in rocky trails at high speed a noise comes from the rear of the bike. It seems like something not well thighten. This morning i tried to tight the bolts on the upper and lower link with a hex wrench and the noise seems to almost stop.
The question is: do you think i have to check with a torque wrench all the pivot axle or just check the external screws the keeps the washers?

you should check all axles and tighten them to spec.
the retaining bolts on some of the links just secure the axles, they don't adjust torque.
also, be careful you don't snap the bolt heads. it's common for people to think that the small bolts need tightened to remove play/slop and this is not the case.
also be sure to lube the lower link axles via the grease port.

i do not have the santa cruz grease gun and can't find it on any shops online here in Italy. Is there any grease gun alternative?

I had the same noise from my TB4. Something like a rattling noise coming from the rear.
After numerous diagnosis attempts it was isolated to a loose DT Swiss rear skewer catch. Somehow the thing is well tightened, but the spring inside the mechanism is loose and rattles when you ride on bumpy trails.

I finally identified this annoying noise. It was coming from the brake pads. I had the ones with ice technology and they where little somehow loose in the caliper and those little wings for cooling was just hitting on the caliper when passing on bumpy trails. Switched with normal pads and the noise disappeared
