My son and I got a wild hair and decided to ride Noble Canyon (maiden trip for me) Saturday afternoon.
We pulled into the parking lot at the bottom at around 4:30 and headed out with full Camelpacks of water. We always ride to the top (earn your downhill stuff) so we headed up the dirt trail going east. Made the loop that reconnects to the pavement then headed up to the 'Big Oak Tree' and headed back down into the northern canyon. Found the single track climb to the top of Indian Creek and took that to the canyon itself.
Now I know why the place is held in such regard. What a blast!
And I only crashed, four or five times.
Just under two and a half hours and only 18mi.
Like Mt Bike Bill says..
I'll be back!
