you will lose some damping (compression & rebound) at least in the first part of travel.

well I know if you dont have the min pressure in rear SPV shocks it will damage them. Not sure about fork but wouldnt ride it with no pressure until it heard directly from Answer that it was ok.

It will top out with a loud klacking metal to metal sound. I rode my FireFly for a short ride without air, it does ride beter but in the long run it will damage the fork.

I just got my new Sherman Slider with SPV....but I am going to (No matter what) run at least 30 PSI. Lower PSI will damage your shock and void your warranty.

Don't do it!!!!!!!!!

Trust me don't do it. After a short ride without minimum pressure will trash any dampining ability of the fork. It will need to be repaired for sure. I learnt the hard way.

I have not looked into resolving the harsh ride of the SPV but i'm shure some place out there is capable of resolving the SPV issues properly.

If you give half-a-crap about your fork then don't do this. Run the minimum 30 psi.

If you don't like the SPV then there IS a solution to remedy this. It's completely reversible, so if you want to sell the fork in the future you can restore it to it's original operation.
