I can't believe these forks are selling for $1000 bucks... insane...I have been looking for one to match up to a Mach429 for 3 months now... Keeping with this forum, I am starting to think there are NO best deals to be had... such a drag

Ummm... top of the line fork for the current model year? Of course there are no deals.

You "might" still find some 2010 models on closeout.... but usually the annual Fox clearance is in Oct/Nov.

Yep. Not sure exactly how it works, but Fox does appear to have some sort of minimum price agreement for their vendors for current model forks, but once that time in the fall or whenever comes around those forks become last years forks then they slash the price however they want
update

Yeah, I am not sure about FOX policy...maybe there is some collusion in that all dealers are selling the 2011 models for essentiallly MSRP list... The magic of MTBR brotherhood prevailed, I found one for $765 via a (___)... can't reveal the source in case the previous post is right about FOX... shop had some other good deals too... My other plan was to buy a leftover F29 100 OEM and send it too PUSH for a rebuild and 120 conversion... not sure if I even will use teh adjustability function of the Talas..its cool in concept and certainly could be useful here in teh rocky mtns... I typically like to dial in a bike and leave it alone and not fuss with buttons during a ride...THe fact that Pivot is selling the 2011 Mach 429 with the Talas suggests to me maybe its worth the investment....
wait till after April. When sea otter is over. Fox usually announces next year's fork and starts selling in May/June 2011 the 2012 forks. The 2011 will be on discount.

Some stores have coupon codes for 15% off... they can then be applied for your entire cart and you get discount. I'm going to omit from saying who they are, just in case it points them out that they are violating X and Y policy with Fox. PM me if you still can't figure out who they are...

10% over 100, 15% off over 300. That should be enough clues for anyone to figure out. Just remember, don't ruin this for everyone because you decided to post it up for public knowledge. I've used it many times over the years for 15% off fox forks and free shipping.
i just bought a Fox 32 talas terralogic Fit for $649.00 from() . I couldnt find a better price anywhere. he said it has to be ordred from the factory but it shoudnt take more than 5 days
