just another toy...

just another useless bike with pogo stick fork...cool;)
What kind of v-brakes are those?

Where are people getting the infamous "Propeller" Cranks?

Cool.
yeah, I'm a little curious how you got a SID to weigh 923g??? Take out a cartridge or two?
Might as well have a Pace RC31. Save a few hundred grams and it would ride nicely. I also wonder where people are getting these cranks. As much as I know that that bike could not take much abuse it is still really cool to see how low weights can be pushed.
no damping at all...

that's what i referred to in my precious post. they have nothing in them and ride like pogo--sticks at best. definitely useless.
just another collection of parts that won't do any good in real outdoor riding. some might that still find interesting, i have seen enough of such bikes.

as a study they might be nice but then we already have 2 such bikes on light-bikes.com which are even lighter. so nothing new, still unrideable and what a waste for all those nice parts.
hey !

Hi Iago !
Just a couple of questions for you. How much do you weigh ? Do you ride your bike exactly like it's shown ? And do you ride it hard, or is it just for riding around town on the road ? (no offense...) :)

Ah hell . . . does "no comment" mean he's not going to comment?

How much weight do ti/coiled springs save? And where are people getting those?

What kind of seat post is that as well?

Waiting for the "action" piccies as well. :p
I was curious about...

The skewers, and what brand they are. The lightest I could find was the M2Racer titanium bolt-ons.

It also looks like the bolts in the Extralite UltraLevers are nylon ??? Am I seeing right ? How crazy would that be ?

Not so crazy such skewers...
take a look at the next few pages of that thread.... the sliders of the fork weigh 487g and the stanchions/steerer weigh 323g.... that leaves what, 113g worth of springs dampening?

HAHAHAHA whoever said you might as well ride a pace couldn't have been more right.
 I'm astonished for his courage: Ultrahub 149 gr.!!! My friends is the Ultrahub's engineer and says that's impossible... incredible...
Maybe he "tuned" it...

and got soem weight off. I was wonderng about that weight too.
Yes hes uses Nylon Bolts...

to get the weight down even further. Crazy I tell you.....
