Really... I've been riding solo and will get some photos up later, when my 4-5 day stretch of riding is over. But for now I'll share just the trail. After all, it's not really about what bike you ride. It's the trails that take you places, if it weren't for them, we wouldn't be able to get out and enjoy the sunshine in such a sublime way.

The first few may have been posted before, but this thread is about the dirt, not the vehicle.

Some of the photos are from Holy Cross. The trail is actually rather short, and the climb is not too bad (I ride it on a singlespeed). The techy stuff is the difficult part, but it's also the fun!

Our area (Fruita, Grand Junction) isn't like riding in the mountain towns, but you can find some good climbs. As long as you're not racing and over extending yourself, I would think that you would do fine.
