I am looking fo any help on Garmin topo downloads. Source? Better to buy from Garmin? I am new to this and at this moment at a loss.

they're are a few people that go on that thread regularly that are rocket scientists about gps. i have an edge 305, foreunner 405, but for topo i recently got a delorme pn-40

If you're still interested I generated transparent topo maps from USGS data for all of jersey for my 705, they're great to overlay on the garmin city navigator maps. Shoot me a PM and I can email them to you.
