anyone figured out how to stop the light from moving when using the crappy universal mount? The whole unit tightens ok, but the light moves in area where it slides into the mount.

If you have the old mount that came standard, swap the front face plates where the light attaches. I noticed a fair amount of play in mine as well... swapped 'em and it's all better now.

Otherwise, I would try shimming with duct tape or get out the cable ties.
