I was wondering since the connectors on the Niterider Trinewt and the Niterider Minewt X2 are the same could i use the trinewt's batery pack on the minewt X2 headlights? I feel the minewt X2 are pretty good and decent but it lacks the long battery runtime of the trinewt. Anyone could confirm for me?

Not sure, but you could call up niterider (or shoot tham an email). Their customer service has been second to none for me.
