How's it going guys, I just picked this bike up today! The gentleman I bought It from said he bought It new in 88' from a shop in Chico, CA. The bike is a Nishiki Cascade, It is actually my first mountain bike! I'm really looking forward to getting this thing looking like new! I'm also looking into converting it to a single speed, i had a single speed as a kid and I thought I'd jump back into it. I would love to hear any knowledge you have on this bike and also hear your advice for the restoration! Thanks!

Can anyone help me with finding the serial number? I'm assuming its not either of those numbers on the stickers in the pictures. Thanks

Most likely locations for the serial would be the underside of the bottom bracket or on the drop outs.
