anyonen out there with a niner crbon fork and a cane creek headset?

how snug is your fit on the bottom of the head set?

i just taped the crown race on with a piece of pvc pipe and i felt like i got it on there as far as it goes....

but when its on the bike, it looks like too much space to me....

im waiting on a back tire and a hope adapter to put the bike together so no riding yet... just hoped someone could let me know it was good before i drive to a bike shop.... kinda far...

different headsets have different profiles to the crown race, i think that as long as the crown race is all the way on(no space between the middle of the crown race and the fork) then you are probably fine. It is not uncommon for a crown race to have a chamfered edge on the bottom side towards the outside edge.
