I may be up for the same again, good ride last time. Let me see how my Wednesday goes.

Cheers,

Dave
are you guys using your lamps on green> i would be down to go but i don't have a light.
I used my light about half the time for the descents. You can get away with it if the moon is still out which is should be at least half. For climbing and the flats, no light is really needed but if you want to move a little bit downhill, then having the sight of the baby heads is a little nicer! If you stay on someones tail...then you can see what is coming--I guess we all should be looking ahead anyway, right?
Would love to make this one but I am heading out of Town at 4am thursday. Definitely in next week.
i might be able to make it this time, Especially since my MXZ 301's came in!

I doubt we ride past 3am so you should be good.

Ha! :D

I'm planning on GM Wednesday night again, 7:30pm. Will probably be on a green Blur this time if I get brakes back on it.

Cheers,

Dave
Only two of us?

Come on folks, its great out and will nice and warm!
I could make it - but only have a small headlamp that gives some light. What parking lot are you starting from?

Easternmost Alameda lot, the larger unpaved one on the south side.

I rode GM today, good shape, only a couple of soft spots in the flats on the far west side.

Cheers,

Dave
i might go, which parking lot? there one where you have to cross the bridge?

hahaha. so what is your excuse for not hitting probably the best(weather wise) Wednesday night ride of the rest of the year?
not sure i know where that is, i know how to get to the one where you cross the pedestrian bridge

It's the main Green Mountain parking lot off Alameda on the south side of the mountain, there is a sign. You would have to drive around Green mountain east, over 470, to the intersection at the stop light and turn left on Alameda.

Dave
Well, was a nice ride, just me and Jordan though. Pretty much everyone else wimped out. Ran into Dive Bomber in the parking lot afterwards. And a lot of deer all over the place. And one peice of deer leg. Wasn't me though, I wasn't that hungry.

Probably will just keep riding winter Wednesday nights like we have been for the last three years, time and weather permitting. Cold is not a factor, we live in Colorado, trail conditions are. Anyone else wants to show up you're welcome. And I've had some nice solo night rides from time to time. Most fun in the fog or the snow. One of these times will have to photograph the city at night.

Cheers,

Dave
