I was going thru the hall of fame both Inductees and Nominees.... and lo and behold!

Anne Caroline Chausson and Nicolas Vouilloz are not there!!

WTH??!!!

Aren't 10 WC's enough?? I can understand this in the case of Anne-Caro who is not retired. But Nico?

C'mon, people! These guys have more titles than anyone else in the sport. They deserve to be there.

These are the categories from which they can be electible. I think they have some Racing History in their background to be inducted.

Advocacy: Hard working individuals who have fought for land access, mountain bike friendly trail policies and responsible rider ethics.

Industry: Advancement and development of the Mountain Bike through technology.

Journalism: Individuals who contributed to the exposure of Mountain Biking to the public through the media.

Pioneers: People involved from the grass roots inception of the sport. Do they remember when the Mountain Bike was called a "Klunker"? Did they modify a bike and start riding it on dirt roads and trails?

Promotion: An individual or group who created, organized or improved a popular mountain biking race, festival or event.

Racing History: An individual whose athletic accomplishments in the area of mountain bike competition make them exceptional.

Are they waiting for them to be dead or what??

Blessings to you all,
Warp

Well... Tinker and Frischi are there. They're still racing.

Nico left 3 years ago. Anne-Caro is still racing (in a dominating fashion) so I can understand that one.

If they were nominated, why haven't them been voted for induction? Again, aren't 10 WC's for Nico and 15 for Anne-Caro not ehough?

Seriously, I'd like them to get more recognition as for what they represent for the sport. They're the most prolific racers of MTB.

Their titles speak for themselves. I doubt they feel as if they need inclusion into the hall to validate their accomplishments. Do you know specifically that they haven't received lots of general sporting honours in France or Europe, or their own national cycling federation?

If I had that many world championships and other titles, I wouldn't give a rat's ass whether someone thought to include me in their list or hall of fame.
