Nick Raganit Memorial Barney Ride - Tuesday 06/16/09
Hard to believe, but it has been two years since fellow mountain biker Nick Raganit passed away while doing what he loved. Nick, who posted as BelaySlave on the public mountain bike forums, was a friend to many of us, and an example for all of us.
Tuesday night's Barney Ride will be dedicated to honoring Nick's memory and having fun, because Nick would want it to be more of a party than a wake.
Hawaiian garb is encouraged. Bring food, drink, and chairs for afterward if you wish. There is a rumor afoot that Mrs. Renfro will attend.
We will meet in the SE corner of the large Military Reserve parking lot (off Mountain Cove Road). Plan on riding off at 6:00 PM.
