Hey All,

I put together a new hardtail this week via my old Fisher warranty.. Nice
Anyway i used all my old parts, need to upgrade some parts soon, cool thing
is it weighs 23.2 lbs and it flys. It has a carbon rear end that soaks up the bumps.
So me and a couple friends went up to Prescott Sunday morn to ride TR 305 @
Lynx Lake. We rode up 10 miles to the service road, but didn't make it to the
Lookout. We turned around and had a blast downhill back to the cars. Rode
about 20 miles today in the trees, nice weather, great trails and a new bike.

It doesn't get much better, here's a few pix..

I was going to buy a new Big Sur but Fisher never had one in stock to ship to LBS, eventually I got bored of waiting and said forget it.. I still haven't bought one and I haven't ruled out the Big Sur although the 29'r route is looking like the way I might go, although they don't have any Paragon's either... :madmax:

On the other hand neither of these bikes have a rear suspension...heck I don't know what to buy...

Hey John...Do you still have the SuperLite? If so, this one would make a good SS. If you're looking to go that route, I can help ya out. Remember, I converted a GF Sugar and rode it for awhile. Otherwise, this will make one killer, superlite race bike.

Congrats! And you need to get out with us some more.

Hey Rodney

Yeh i still have my superlight. I had my old Fisher set up as a singlespeed for awhile
but my old bum knees can't handle it, so i want this to be a nice fast hardtail.
I am going to use it for certain rides and the canal. When i get in better shape i
will ride with you guys again. Also i'm going up to Oregon in August for a MS 150
ride on my Lemond road bike. Hopefully it won't be so d**n hot..

Hey Dan

I did see you guys up there. We had a nice ride that day. When i rode up there
last year i ran into you also, scratching my head at how fast you make that ss go.

It's got nothing on Pink Death. Wait until I tackle riding it to Sunflower Market for beer and gazing upon hippie chicks. It's my new ride; fit only for a pimp.

Alright I admit I;m drunk now and I have to be at work by 7 for another 10 or 12 or more hour day making next to nothing cleaning up crap and whoever got shot or capped themselves yesterday.

Now I am going to go pee in this fine rain that is pounding down.

PS..every hat in that is mine besides my black outlaw hat which i;m wearing to protect my noggin from the gravity influenced water, you're looking at a bookstore owner, a failed candidate for the tempe city council and current flunkie for the democratic party, some oregonian, some anonymous person under the influence of the john deeres that feed us all, and well...

I can see the knees thing. Age isn't good to us...Damn you age!!! :madmax: :madman:

Anyway, that should be a smokin' ride for racing. Now you'll be like the rest of us bringing two bikes to races. And who cares about 'in shape'. You hung with me on the climb/DH on the ride near Walt's place so I'd say you're good to go.

You'll love road riding in the NW. People are courteous and actually KNOW how to drive AROUND roadies. I did the STP (Seattle to Portland...200+ miles) 5 years in a row and loved it. It's a great time and I'm sad I couldn't get back there to ride it this year. That being said, b/c of the crappy drivers around here I'm strongly considering selling my Lemond roadie to fund a 29er SS. Rocks are softer than cars. :D
