Whats the most common way that bike lights are powered? I assume just by a battery or something, but i have seen lights powered by the rider! but that requires a whole other configuration that im sure has been made obsolete.

There are many guys who still prefer the dynamo setup to power their lights.

For those who don't want to change bike components batts are necessary.

Whatever floats your boat is the right answer.
