I am going to start to go on night rides as the days get shorter and I need a good trail light because some of these rides are probably going to be solo. Unfortunitally I am on a budget and cant afford anything thats expensive. Does anyone know of a very good light (preferably able to be helmet mounted) that costs under $150?

Thanks.

These lights seem like a great deal for three of them. I was just wondering, for the helmet mounted light is the battery small enough to fit in a tiny pocket of a hydration pack? Also about how long does it take to recharge the batteries?

Does anyone else have experiance with these lights that they can tell me about?

yes it fits in my hydration pack...the batteries are about 8 inches long about the size of a "C" battery and as they are NiMh they are very light weight. i come back from a ride and plug them in overnight..they are always charged by morning...i would guess 6-8 hours for full charge...less for partial.
