Hey guys. After a catastrophic faliure of a sun rhyno lite wheelset I had (manufacturing defect, cracked where it was taped and collapsed) I need a new wheelset. Jenson again and as usual gave excellent customer service in response to the incident, and refunded me, but now I still need new wheels. Im a aggressive xc/moderate trail rider, but weigh a mere 130lbs. It should be noted that the wheels failed when going down a rather mild hill at low speed, so it wasnt caused by me. Here is what I have found that I can afford. Please take the time to look at a few at least and reccomend one, they all seem sort of good but I cant really figure it out. Im looking for something that wont collapse again (unlikely anything will, my old alex dm20's held up to 4 years of my abuse) but also considerably lighter than what I was previously using (1100 and 1300g, looking for 900/1100 or something along those lines). Here are what I have found.

I bought the Deore disc DS2 wheels from Jenson about 6 months ago. They have held up well so far, and I weigh 220 lbs. I wasn't worried about the hubs. I ran deore hubs on my last set of wheels for years before I blew up the rear hub.

I've had the Sun Singletrack rims for about 6mo's, having done some severe riding, resulting in only braking 2 spokes. I realized that they were laced with some generic spokes so I'm rebuilding them w/DT Swiss Champions. Very happy with the rims but they're really wide so I've gotten some rubbing issues with the front derailur and my 2.3 tires.

I like these wheels aside from the hubs, which are ok too. Whats the weight on them do you know?
