Just got a 2009 Scalpel 4 with a Lefty Speed DLR 110mm fork on it.
I do my own maintenance and the Lefty is the only foreign thing to me on the bike (well no pivot suspension, but that seems pretty maintenance free).

Are the 2009 DLR's the same as the previous DLR2's (just a name change)? Seems like the DLR2's are much more maintenance friendly with respect to bearing reset and such.

Any daily/routine maintenance that should to be performed to keep it working smoothly, longer?

Sweet, thanks. I have a Marzocchi fork that is a PITA to work on because Marz won't release tech manuals. This thing is great.
