Recently relocated here from Chicago staying in Bentonville for a bit. I've been riding the Bentoville trails and they are great. I would like to find a group similar to CAMBR our Chicago area mtn bike club. Looks like all the trail work here is done by contractors but maybe there is a group doing something?
Any regular group rides would be cool too. I'm an average rider need some couching on jumps and drops but on a good day I can clear most of the chunky stuff I've seen around here, certainly the blue trails.

I started moving to the area as of last week and will be there full time in January. I am looking to start helping out with trail building from time to time as well. The other organization in the area I have heard of is OORC. I believe it stands for Ozark Offroad Cyclists. I have see post of them doing a lot of work at Kessler and I thought they do work days on back 40 and little sugar.

So OORC and FAST are the two local IMBA chapters. FAST is predominantly Bentonville/BV/Rogers (Benton County). OORC tends to be everything else with "local" chapters covering different regions (River Valley OORC, Frontier OORC, Carroll County OORC) sprouted up. OORC has been around forever and is extremely grassroots. They do a ton of the trailbuilding and maintenance, undertaking projects all over Washington County. FAST is newer but has a more executive/professional feel in some ways. They have great organized rides and FAST kids which is a great organized kids program.

If you want to get involved in trail building/maintenance up in Benton County, check out the FAST TAP (Trail Adoption Program). FAST Group - TAP (Trail Adoption Program)
