I built my Voodoo as a little project to just screw around with because I didn't want to build a full bike with cassettes, shifters, mechs, etc. and I just picked up some cheaply priced SS stuff and this was the product.

Fast forward to present day and I stripped all the bits off my gearie bike (access xcl) and this was the 19 pound product

I am totally hooked on the SS riding and lifestyle. I get a lot of crap from my friends and riding buddies, you know non-stop about this and that, but I have a blast on either of these bikes. This was by far one of the best choices I have made for my riding style. I am even considering just selling my full-suspension rigs and relying completely on SS and getting stronger. I am more confident in my skills and have improved my and endurance greatly. I also ordered in a Redline Monocog Flight 29er, which should be arriving this impending week.

Good for you!
I am currently putting my Gary Fisher project together, all I need is the fork and the headset and I can complete the project. The parts are at my work and hopefully I can get in and get the fork and headset and I can finish it tomorrow.
NIce bikes....what bars do you have on the Access? ... I concur on the Singlespeeding way of life. It's pretty much all I do now. I have a bunch of drivetrains laying around and thats not counting the NOS stuff I stockpiled.... I think Santa is bringing me a new Surly 1 x 1.....bright Orange....That Redline you have ordered is sweet.

Thanks. I'm running Sunline V-Ones on the Access. 29" width, I needed some extra bar for leverage with climbing because that bike is set with a 34x15, so it can get a bit hairy on the climbs. I'm in the same boat with 2 sets of XT drive bits just hanging around my house.

There's an SS lifestyle?
Yes, but it is a don't ask don't tell policy.
