ive been riding xc for about 4 years and i want to get into freeriding. on my xc bike ive been doing about 2 feet drops to flat, 6 foot drops to tranny, and about 8 foot doubles. i feel ive gone as far as possible on my bike which is a kona cindercone and would like to get a freeride bike. i dont no whether to get a ht or fs. the bike has to be pretty affordable cuz i have to pay for it myself (im 13) can you guys give me some advice?

Search this forum for entry level freeride bikes, buy something used.

I'd go for a used hardtail and get it a nice fork(like a sherman) that way you can still do big drops but you could also use it for an dj bike if thats what you want.
