I have always wanted to try some DH, so I picked up a pretty decent (I guess) used bike and wanted to give it a try.

I was planning to hit Keystone this summer, but wanted to know if I will be over my head. I snowboard there, but my DH skills are well behind my boarding skills.

Any advise on where to start would be great.

Thanks,

advise heh, advice

that should be fine as long as they have some beginner to intermediate trails

edit* resorts are a great place to learn becuase they have many different levels of trails, and also there are classes you can take

Keystone has a few green/blue trails... you'll be fine. Invest in a full face helmet and pads though. Keystone has been making an effort to put up more features that can be hit by a beginner or intermediate rider this year. If you have solid trail/xc skills you'll be able to ride the single black trails pretty quickly if not right from the start.

Oh yeah... pm me if you want to ride, I'm up there 1 or 2 days a week...
