I have recently purchased some new forks, some RockShox Tora 318 UTurn Coil forks. I have very quick question regarding some "noises" it is making, as it presses in and comes out it makes a very distinct squelching noise.

Is this normal from a new set of forks?
Do these noises go over time or are they here to stay?

Cheers guys for any advice!

The noise you are referring to is the dampening system working. You will notice as you turn the dampening knob towards rabbit, the noise is less, turn it towards turtle and the noise is louder/more distinct. It should be set closer to the middle, maybe slightly towards rabbit so when you compress the fork and snatch it back up, the fork just reaches full extension when the front wheel comes off the ground.

good luck.
