Looks great! Like a Wraithchild but better rubber that will hold studs. I will be buying a set and will be studding them with 45NRTH XL studs.

What is everyones thoughts on these:

Maybe the bite of the XL studs is what makes them pull out of the tires…
Kudos to Terrence for publishing estimated delivery dates on all their tires, hoping they actually get them on time.
And possibly they will clear a Bluto at that size, but that’s not really much of a issue.

I think it is the XL studs' added leverage that make them pull out. I like these new Terrenes (I'm on 27.5s now) but are they more aggressive than the Wazias (26") that I have used? I cannot tell what the tread depth difference possibly is. The Wazias were great till the snow got deeper or softer. There, the Wrathchild was far better so I switched to those on the last bike.

Rumor is one of the designers came over from 45nrth and worked on the Dillinger.
Hopefully not the guy that designed the first wolf hammers.

4.3...Too narrow for snow in my opinion.

No 26" option. Boo.
Under what conditions?
Just curious since my midfAt wears VH 4.0's on 70's and rides in Rocky Mountain winter snow, well when it isn't on back order due to COOTIES. For the real stuff in the most demanding situation, the Mayor laces up a pair of XXL's.

Loose or soft snow conditions... I have 4.6 tires...Having rode with other people that have smaller tires on those types of conditions...I've seen them struggle while I was able to keep pedaling.

No doubt there is market for this size tire...not everyone needs 4.6 - 5.0 tires. But for me it would be a no go.

Local trail was just groomed Sunday...last night we got about 2" of snow on top of it. We are doing a group ride tonight...narrower tires would be a struggle tonight.

Doesn't look to be much siping on those. I'm skeptical.

4.3 is not far off from as big as you can get in 27.5.

You'd think there'd be a weight advantage to this slightly smaller size, but it doesn't appear so. Will be interesting to see how they perform.
