Well, finally got one of my two bikes built up. Heres my new hardtail. rides great, very simple, yet strong. check it out:

setup is the following:
Azonic steelhead frame
2003 Sherman Firefly
Hussefelt crankset
Ditch witch front rim w/ 2.7 intense tire and specialized hub (soon to be upgraded because the wheel isnt mine)
Rhyno lite rear rim w/ specialized hub and 2.35 maxxis high roller set up with a SS setup. 32 in front, 18 in back.
Shimano disc brakes (i think alivio, not sure haha).
Specialized pedals (to be replaced because the pegs are worn)
kona stem and specialized bars.

i took most of the parts off of my old hardrock pro off (like hte bars and the hubs), so thats where all the specialized comes from. so yeah, tell me what you think.

thanks. yeah, its not rubbin, i rode it after takin the pics, it was just teh way the photo came out. the frame bends in up there, thats probly why. but thanks for the comments
Nice. In the second pic it looks like your tire is rubbing the frame. Better check the alignment. Nice bike though.
i regret not buyign one of those frames when i had the cash, had to spend it on brakes oh well. good looking bike how much does it weigh?
weigjhed in at 36 lbs on the scale. that lightweight fork really helps. titanium coils feel sick nasty too
You should reduce the travel on that Sherman. See my thread in Let's Talk About Shocks.

Seat looks crooked in that pic too.
congrats........................
cool bike man...
the travel is only 5", and i can reduce it to 110 if i want, but i think the 130 is perfect on it. as for the seat, thats because i had taken the seat out to wash the bike and hadnt tightened it yet. other than that, thanks for the comments
Hey, this must be PJ from NJ. I'm pretty sure I'm the one who traded you for you Zocchi.
The pic links aren't working for me, but glad your the fork worked out with your frame man! Sounds like a sweet ride.
hey LL. yep, thats me. thanks for the fork dude, it goes perfectly with the bike. the pics should work, i had to post em a second time cuz the originals got messed up. thanks again for the fork

You'll break it if you ride it in the lowered position with the travel adjust. I meant permanently lowering it.
how would it break? =/, dont want that to happen
dude don't lower the travel. steelheads are made for 130mm forks. but i like it. my steelhead just came in today so i'm very excited
i had cleaned it right before takin the pics. the bike really holds up. Ive been pushing my limits a little bit on it and trying new things and it is taking everything I throw it at with little or no trouble. I love this thing, heh :D
